We have created a feature that lets you integrate hURRLey into your blog or CMS. That way, your readers can easily hURRL your posts and articles.

All you have to do is include a single line of Javascript Code and hURRLey will display a 32×32 pixel button on your site. Clicking the button will open hURRLey in a pop-up window. Source code for the Javascript pop-up can be found on our FAQ page.

Unfortunately, since WordPress.com removes Javascript from posts, we can’t demonstrate the feature on our blog.

Please support hURRLey by adding the button to your site. Thank you!

Today our social bookmarking client of OS X, hURRLey v0.8, has received Softpedia’s “100% Clean” Award!

This means that Softpedia guarantees that hURRLey 0.8 is 100% CLEAN, which means it does not contain any form of malware, including but not limited to: spyware, viruses, trojans and backdoors.

Read more about the award on Softpedia’s Website or download hURRLey here.

Yesterday evening we released hURRLey v0.8 for OS X! The new binary includes the following changes:

* hURRLey no longer uses the clipboard to fetch URLs and instead gets the URLs directly from Safari or Firefox.

* hURRLey now displays a splash screen!

The update process should pretty much start automagically as soon as you launch an older hURRLey binary. All you have to do is drag hURRLey to your “Applications” folder and execute.

If you’re new, visit our getting started page!

Expect more updates soon – hURRLey is work in progress!

hURRLey Splash Screen

About a month ago hURRLey, our new social bookmarking site went online. Since then we have fixed lots of bugs, implemented some new features and of course we have hURRLed many interesting sites.

You might ask yourself:”Why another social bookmarking service?”… hURRLey was created out of the need for a quick and efficient bookmarking solution for power-users. And that’s what the OS X client is all about. Using only ONE keyboard shortcut, hURRLey users are able to instantly submit their links to our website.

So… why was this blog created? First of all we wanted to have a website where we can post things such as feature upgrades, news and so on, but more importantly we wanted to find way to communicate with our users in order to find out what we can do to make hURRLey a more enjoyable experience. hURRLey is a free service and it will remain free – as we said, we just wanted to create something really cool and worthwhile!

Well, that’s it for this post. Please support hURRLey by signing up and hURRLing cool and interesting links!
