Some MIT students placed a 20-sided dice on their university campus – in memory of Gary Gygax, the inventor of Dungeons and Dragons. I never really got around to playing RPGs, except maybe on the PC (I played Baldur’s Gate, etc). I wonder what number the students put on top of the dice!?
OMG, that is just cruel! Apparently in the Phillipines, people actually nail other people to crosses – as a form of penance to thank God for answering to prayers. And they really do nail them to crosses. “He screamed in agony as 18-centimetre metal nails were driven into both palms and feet while lying spread-eagled over the cross.”.
That sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
US Army toyed with telepathic ray gun
The United States Army is playing with mind control devices. At least that’s what the New Scientist reported on March 21st. It says: “A recently declassified US Army report on the biological effects of non-lethal weapons reveals outlandish plans for ‘ray gun’ devices, which would cause artificial fevers or beam voices into people’s heads”.
So, perhaps everybody will behave like cattle on future battlefields. Interesting idea :/
